About Us
Code2Image does exactly one job: renders a snippet of code into a syntax-highlighted PNG you can drop into a document, a slide or a post. That is the whole of the site. No account, no newsletter, and no wall between you and the number you came for.
The idea behind Code2Image
Most developer tools online spend more screen space on advertising and consent banners than on the calculation. Code2Image takes the other approach โ the tool does one thing, renders a snippet of code into a syntax-highlighted PNG you can drop into a document, a slide or a post, and the page stays out of the way while it does. A narrow scope is easier to keep correct, too.
How the maths is done
No server is involved in the arithmetic. It tokenises the snippet, applies a syntax theme to those tokens, draws the result to a canvas and exports the canvas as a PNG โ the highlighting comes from the same parser that colors the preview, so what you see is what gets saved. We state the method openly because a tool that cannot explain its own answer is not much use to anyone trying to trust it.
Privacy by default
Your input stays local: the code you paste and the theme you pick are handled entirely by the page and never leave your device. You can turn off your connection after loading and the tool still works, which is the simplest proof that nothing is being sent.
Who this is for
- developers wiring up an API or a config.
- engineers checking a value before it ships.
- anyone who wants a tool that runs locally.
Who pays for this
There is no charge to use Code2Image. The costs are covered by advertising, which stays out of the way of the tool itself and has no access to your input. If an advert ever interferes with the page, tell us and we will look at it.
