Code2Image is a free online tool that converts code snippets into clean, syntax-highlighted images. We built it for developers, writers and educators who are tired of sharing code as plain, easily-mangled text — paste the snippet, pick a theme, download the image, and get back to your work.

Our Approach

We believe developer tools should be fast, honest and private. That is why the entire generator runs in your browser:

• No uploads. Your code is rendered locally with JavaScript and never sent to any server.
• No sign-up. No accounts, no email walls, no watermarks.
• Clean output. A lightweight syntax highlighter colors keywords, strings, numbers and comments so your image looks sharp on docs, slides, Twitter/X, LinkedIn and Notion.

The Design

Code2Image is styled like a modern print studio — warm paper, amber and coral ink accents, and a serif signature. Why? Because we think turning code into an image is a small act of publishing: your snippet is the content, and Code2Image is the press that sets it in type.
